The Railway Trench
A mining railway trench dig into the limestone mountain and exposed the fossil-bearing sediments.
Along this railway trench (Trinchera del Ferrocarril) we can find the Sima del Elefante, Galería and Gran Dolina Sites, wich has given us the oldest human fossils found till now in western Europe.
